Profile I am a qualified English teacher with special interest in literature and Media. I possess experience of working within both secondary and further education and am thoroughly familiar with the National Curriculum and assessment criteria. I also possess good knowledge of general educational matters relating to running and management of schools which I have acquired through my long experience as a school governor. Innovation and creativity are at the heart of my teaching method and mutual respect is the main principle behind my behaviour policy. I am able to work under pressure especially when it comes to meeting deadlines and implementing tasks at short notice and can easily adapt to new work environment and conditions. Secondary school teacher working for Celsian Education in London. I am currently working as a high school teacher on contract basis at East London secondary schools. My job primarily involves teaching English to Key Stage 3 and 4 students and carrying out general coverwork. The major schools I have worked for so far include: St Bonaventure School, Cumberland School, Forest Gate School, Kingsford Community School in Newham. I have also done daily supply work for Morpeth School in Tower Hamlets and Haggerston Girls School in Hackney.
Trainee teacher at Robert Clack School in Dagenham. This was my second placement where I taught English language and literature to students from year seven up to GCSE level. I also gained some teaching experience at A-level during the same period.
